Tranzilli's Real Italian Water Ice, Inc. is a retail and wholesale manufacturer of Italian Water Ice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company was started by Nobile and Olimpia Tranzilli, both Italian immigrants who came to the United States after World War II. They opened in 1969 and began as a retail operation serving their homemade Italian Water Ice and other items such as pretzels and popcorn to the Germantown community. Since then, the company has expanded to a wholesale distributorship.
Tranzilli's is one of the few water ice companies in the Philadelphia area that is still owned and operated by the original Italian family.
